This was a quick exploration into more advanced design patterns for kayak.com. The idea for both of these sets is to allow the user to view 100's of results on a single page, have an idea as to where their "core" search criteria is, and allow them to view items just outside of it that they may have missed.

Another reason for this exploration is to start forcing us outside of our analog result listings; single results stacked on top of each other with too much information that underscore the desktop metaphor.
